2012-13 Highlights • Competed in a variety of distances, setting a new personal best in the 800 with a time of 1:54.23 at the Armory during indoor season • Ran the steeplechase for the first time as a collegian and turned in a best of 9:43.28 at the FSU Relays 2011-12 Highlights • Competed primarily in the middle distance • Best time on the season in the 800 meters was 1:55.09 at the ACC Outdoor Championships • Also competed in the mile during indoor season and 1500 meters during outdoor season; best time was 4:00.53 in the 1500 at the Charlotte 49er Classic Wando High School Highlights • Four-time AAAA all-state selection in cross country, he placed third at the 2010 championship meet as a senior with a time of 15:46 • Placed third at 2011 New Balance Indoor Nationals in the mile run (4:22.23) and 14th in the two-mile run (9:27.31) • 2010 AAAA state champion in track, he won the 1600 run with a time of 4:20.81 • Member of school’s 2008 AAAA state champion 4×800 relay • Led high school to team state championship in 2009 in track & field • Two-time region champion in cross country (2008, 2010) • Named Charleston Post & Courier Lowcountry Cross Runner-of-the-Year in 2009 and 2010 • Named to Charleston Post & Courier All-Lowcountry Team for cross country from 2007-10 and for track from 2008-10 • Held eight school records at the time of graduation, including 1600, 3200 and 5K • Earned five varsity letters apiece in cross country and track Personal• Born 10/10/92 • Majoring in marketing • Named to 2011-12 ACC Academic Honor Roll • Father, Tim, graduated from Clemson in 1984 • Uncle, Brian, played basketball at the College of Charleston from 1977-81 Best Collegiate Times • 800 – 1:54.23 • 1000 – 2:36.27 • 1500 – 4:00.53 • Mile – 4:24.78 • 3000 – 9:04.59 • Steeplechase – 9:43.28
