Career Honors • All-ACC, Indoor & Outdoor 800 (2011) Clemson Highlights • Ranks sixth in Clemson history in the outdoor 800 & ninth in the indoor 800. 2010-11 Outdoor Highlights • ACC’s third-place runner in the 800, he clocked a season-best time of 1:49.54 in the final at Duke’s Wallace Wade Stadium • Competed in Bloomington, IN at the NCAA East Preliminary Round and finished 16th (1:50.15) in the quarterfinals, four spots shy of a berth into the national meet • Posted solid time of 1:50.50 at the Clemson Final Qualifier 2010-11 Indoor Highlights • ACC’s runner-up in the 800 meters, he posted a season-best time of 1:51.01 to hold onto the second-place position in the final • Ran a winning time of 1:51.76 in the 800 at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet 2009-10 Outdoor Highlights • Displayed marked improvement throughout the course of the outdoor season, to the point he nearly qualified for the quarterfinal round of the 800m at the NCAA East Prelims in Greensboro • Along with teammate Jasen Turnbull, became first Tiger to run under 1:50 in the 800m run in 10 years when he posted a time of 1:49.28 (No. 6 in Clemson history) at the Orange & Purple Classic • Held top times on the team in 1500m as well with a 3:49.79 at the Georgia Tech Invitational 2009-10 Indoor Highlights • Top middle distance runner on the team, holding Clemson’s top time in both the 800m (1:51.33) and mile (4:13.29); his mile time was a personal best by over three seconds • Helped distance medley relay team to time of 10:00.73 and sixth-place finish at the ACC Championships as the anchor leg (1600m portion) 2008-09 Outdoor Highlights • Top performer in the 1500m for the Tigers • Best effort of the season was a time of 4:02.34 at the Florida Relays 2008-09 Indoor Highlights • Competed primarily in the mile run, his best time was 4:16.52 at the Tiger Paw Invitational held at Clemson’s indoor facility 2007-08 Highlights • Red-shirted the outdoor season • Competed indoors, where his top performance of the season was a time of 9:01.43 in the 3000m run at the Clemson Opener Concord High School Highlights • Won DIAA (Delaware Interscholastic Athletics Association) Division II state championships in 2006 in both the 800m and 1600m events • Also won the 800m run as a senior in 2007 • Placed third in the 1600m at the 2007 state championships • First-team All-State in cross country as a junior and senior • Second-team All-State as a sophomore in cross country Personal • Born 2/22/89 • Earned undergraduate degree in economics in May of 2011 • Named to 2009-10 ACC Academic Honor Roll Best Collegiate Times • 800m – 1:49.28 • 1000m – 2:31.72 • 1500m – 3:49.79 • Mile – 4:13.29 • 3000m – 8:35.71
