2019-20 Indoor Highlights
*Was the Tigers’ top male pole vaulter during indoor freshman campaign.
- Contested the men’s pole vault in seven competitions during his freshman campaign.
- Set a lifetime personal best in the event at the ACC Championships (Feb. 29) by clearing 4.73 meters (15-6.25), placing 11th.
- Finished in the top-5 overall in four competitions.
- Opened the season at 4.30 meters (14-1.25) at the Clemson Opener (Dec. 7). Boyles would go on to either tie or eclipse his season’s best in each competition this season.
- Competed indoors for the first time in his career, as Boyles had exclusively competed outdoors in high school.
Prior to Clemson:
- School record holder in the pole vault.
- State runner up two years in a row.
- Won the SCHSL Region 1-5A pole vault championship with his clearance of 15-00.
- Set a high school personal best of 15-6 at the Wren Home Meet 1 on March 12, 2019.
- Won all six of his competitions during senior season at Easley HS.
Off the track:
- Engineering major
