Clemson Highlights2007-08Outdoor: Best event was the javelin throw, where he finished fifth at the ACC Championships…came into the event with a personal best just over 171 feet, but shattered it with an effort of 192’1″ in the finals…ended up with a season-best mark of 199’6″, just shy of a regional mark, at the Orange & Purple Classic…also competed in the high jump, where he cleared 6’5″. Indoor: Top high jumper on the Clemson squad in his first year with the program…best clearance was 6’8.25″ at the Clemson Invitational, a scored meet…cleared 6’6.75″ at the Virginia Tech Invitational. Illinois-Chicago Highlights Placed second in the Horizon League in the high jump both indoor and outdoor in 2007…best clearance was 6’8″…second in the javelin at the Horizon outdoor meet. Hinsdale Central High School Highlights Earned two letters in track & field and one in basketball…competed in the USATF Championships in Baltimore…high school best clearance in the high jump was 6’5″…2006 sectional champion in the state of Illinois.
