2008 Honors: All-ACC, Decathlon; All-ACC Academic, Track & Field. 2007 Honors: All-ACC Academic, Track & Field. Clemson Highlights2007-08Outdoor: Earned first-ever All-ACC certificate with a third-place showing in the decathlon at the league meet in Atlanta, GA…posted a total of 6,582 points…best event was the 110m hurdles, he had a time of 15.07…also had a shot put mark of 42’8.75″, best in the field…had a solid javelin throw of 157’8″ as well. Indoor: Placed sixth at the ACC Championships in Chapel Hill, NC in the heptathlon…posted personal best total of 5,164 points…second time in three years that Feathers finished in the top six at ACCs in the heptathlon…best event was the 55m hurdles, where he posted a time of 7.76…also competed in the 60m hurdles for the Tigers, where he had the team’s top time of 8.26…had an outstanding shot put mark at ACCs at 44’4″, which was a personal best. 2006-07Outdoor: Finished seventh in the decathlon at the ACC Championships with a total of 6,425 points…had a solid javelin throw of 151’6″ as part of the decathlon…also had a shot put mark of 41’5.25″, a season-best, at the ACC meet in the decathlon…top discus throw of the season was 126’4″ at the Tiger Multi-Event Open. Indoor: Competed at the ACC Championships in the heptathlon, but did not score for the Tigers…did not clear a height in the pole vault, which cost him a shot at scoring enough points to place in the top eight…best mark in the shot put was 43’4.5″ in the heptathlon at ACCs, fourth-best on the team. 2005-06Outdoor: Scored for the Tigers in the ACC decathlon with a fourth-place finish…recorded 6,642 points in that event for Clemson…had a shot put mark of 43’1.5″ in the decathlon at ACCs, as well as solid marks in the high hurdles (15.02) and 1500m (4:53.30). Indoor: Moved into fifth all-time in Clemson history with 5,131 points in the heptathlon…accomplished that feat at the ACC Championships after he placed fifth…ran a strong 1000m time of 2:49.93 at the ACC meet…cleared 6’5″ in the high jump for his season best in that event…had shot put mark of 43’10.75″ at the ACC meet as well. 2004-05Indoor and Outdoor: Red-shirted. Grand Island High School Highlights 2004 Indoor National Scholastic Meet pentathlon champion…also won the 2004 New York pentathlon championship with 3,697 points…in 2003, claimed the National Youth Decathlon crown…a four-time high school All-American with three honors in the decathlon and one in the pentathlon…came to Clemson with personal-best performances of 14.90 in the 100m hurdles, 21’11” in the long jump, 6’5.5″ in the high jump, 48’6″ in the shot put and 4:32 in the 1500m run.
