Clemson Highlights2007-08Outdoor: Placed fourth at the ACC Championships after matching his personal best in the long jump at 24’9.75″…posted a regional-qualifying mark (24’1.5″) at the Auburn Tiger Classic and Georgia Tech Invitational (24’2.25″) as well…finished 11th in the long jump at regionals. Indoor: Came along slowly during the indoor season but finished eighth at the ACC Championships in the long jump, he had a season-best mark of 23’6″…also hit the same mark at the Tyson Invitational. 2006-07Outdoor: Earned automatic bid to the NCAA Championships, his first-ever appearance…placed fourth at the East Region Championships with a season-best jump of 24’7″…tied for 15th in the qualifying round at NCAAs, with a jump of 24’5.75″…qualified for regionals with a runner-up finish in the long jump at the ACC Championships…it marked his second straight All-ACC honor outdoors…had a mark of 24’6.5″…won the long jump at the Clemson Relays, Western Carolina Invitational, Georgia Relays, and Clemson Invitational. Indoor: Earned his first-ever ACC crown with a long jump of 24’5.5″ in the meet held at Clemson…actually had three marks better than that over the course of the season…top effort of the year came in the Virginia Tech Qualifier, as he jumped 24’9.25″…just missed an invitation to the NCAA Indoor Championships with that jump…that mark was an indoor personal best…jumped 24’7.75″ at the Clemson Invitational and 24’6.25″ at the Clemson Opener. 2005-06Outdoor: Just missed All-Region honors and a chance at the NCAA Championships after finishing sixth at regionals with a long jump of 24’9.25″…earned All-ACC honors after runner-up finish in the long jump at ACC Championships…hit a mark of 24’9.75″, which was his season-best, at that meet…regional qualifier for the Tigers…won the long jump title at the Western Carolina Invitational and set the school’s facility record. Indoor: Posted three of the Tigers’ top four marks in the long jump…season best came at the ACC Championships when he finished fifth with a leap of 23’10″…recorded a mark of 23’9.5″ at Notre Dame…also competed in the high jump at ACCs and cleared 6’6.75″.
