2021 Outdoor Season
- Made his outdoor debut with Clemson during the USC Open (April 17) by contesting the hammer throw.
- Neel threw 40.13m (131-08).
2021 Indoor Season
- Made his Clemson debut by contesting the weight throw at the Orange & Purple Elite (Jan. 9).
- Earned his first collegiate victory by throwing 11.22m (36-9.75) to finish atop the weight throw competition at the Orange & Purple Elite.
- At the Clemson Invitational (Jan. 15-16), Neel eclipsed the 12-meter mark for the first time in his career, going 12.25m.
- Set a personal best in the weight throw at the Bob Pollock Invitational (Jan. 29-30), throwing 12.43 meters.
