she is the first athlete in Clemson history to qualify for NCAA outdoor nationals in all three events • First-team All-American in the long jump with an eighth-place finish and mark of 21’2.75″; second-team All-America in the high jump and triple jump • Broke Clemson’s Rock Norman Track record with a long jump of 21’9.5″, also a personal best, on May 14 at the Final Qualifier • Earned seventh individual ACC title by winning the high jump with a 5’11.5″ clearance • ACC runner-up in the long jump, she hit a mark of 20’3″ • Hit a long jump mark of 20’9.25″ at the NCAA East Prelims in Bloomington • Season-best in the high jump was 6’0″ clearance in a win at the Clemson Final Qualifier • Season-best in triple jump was a mark of 42’11” at the Texas Relays; her best NCAA finish was 10th in the long jump (20’4.25″), where she was just one centimeter shy of advancing into the finals • Placed 15th in the triple jump with mark of 41’9.75″ • Placed sixth in the triple jump and seventh in the long jump at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in Greensboro • Captured first-ever ACC championships by winning both high jump and long jump in the meet held at Clemson’s Rock Norman Track • Broke school outdoor record with 6’1.25″ clearance in high jump at Georgia Tech • Hit personal outdoor best in long jump (21’1.25″) at Georgia Tech as well in a three-way meet • Scored a mark of 43’6″ at the East Prelims in the triple jump, third-best jump in school history; set school record with 6’0.75″ clearance • Named ACC’s Most Valuable Field Event Athlete for second straight season • Fell just one centimeter shy of an automatic qualifying mark in the triple jump at the Virginia Tech Invitational • Placed fourth at the ACC Championships for the second straight season in the triple jump, making her the highest scoring field event athlete at the league meet 2008-09 Highlights • Red-shirted the outdoor season • Named ACC’s Most Valuable Field Event Athlete at the indoor meet after winning her first-ever conference championships in the high jump and long jump • Established school records in both events, she cleared 5’11.5″ in the high jump and then hit an automatic NCAA qualifying mark of 21’4.25″ in the long jump • First high jump champion ever in women’s track & field at the ACC level for Clemson, she was also the first long jump champion for the Tigers on the women’s side since Gisele Oliveira in 2004 • Was selected to compete in both events at the NCAA Championships, but she was pulled from the competition due to an ankle injury suffered in practice • Also an NCAA provisional qualifier in the triple jump, she recorded the third-best mark in school history with a jump of 42’8.75″ in a fourth-place finish at the ACC meet 2007-08 Outdoor Highlights • Affected much of the season by injury, she did compete in both horizontal jumps and qualified for regionals in the high jump • Top effort in the long jump was a 19’9.5″ mark at the Orange & Purple Classic, good enough to qualify her for regionals in the event • Tied teammate Anastasia Wilson for first place at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a regional-qualifying high jump of 5’8.75″, which ranks second in school history • Finished tied for eighth in the high jump (5’7.25″) with Wilson at the East Region meet • Earned USA Junior All-America honors in both the long jump and high jump, she finished sixth in both events at the Columbus, OH meet 2007-08 Indoor Highlights • Competed in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump, and had a strong impact in all three events for the Lady Tigers • Scored at the ACC meet in both the long jump and triple jump, but was slowed by injury in the high jump at the league competition • Placed fourth in the long jump (19’9.75″) and fifth in the triple jump (39’3″) at ACCs • Moved into second place on Lady Tigers’ all-time high jump list with a clearance of 5’8.75″ at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet, where she finished third • Qualified provisionally for NCAAs in the triple jump after posting a mark of 42’2″ at the Tiger Invitational in February Brooke Point High School Highlights • Claimed first place in the high jump at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in 2007 • Nike national runner-up in the triple jump • Earned All-State honors as a senior in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump • Led school to fifth consecutive Commonwealth District title in 2007 and won four events at the meet • Swept the jumps at the Northwest Region meet in 2007 as well • Named 2007 Female Track & Field Athlete-of-the-Year by the Free-Lance Star • Also earned four varsity letters apiece in basketball and soccer;
