“Matt grew up a Clemson fan and it has been fun to see his dream play out over time competing for the Tigers. He is a consistent worker in practice with a great attitude and hardly any bad practice days. His road of improvement has not been a straight line, but he is now in a great place with his game going into his senior season. We are going to see Matt go at the end of the year, but we are excited to see his best tennis level come through in his final year.”

Pitts impressed in the 2023-24 season as he picked up 15 singles wins and 10 doubles victories…playing consistently at court five or six, Pitts helped Clemson collect crucial singles wins to secure the overall match victory
