Pires added another impressive win to his resume, logging a ranked singles win with a 7-5, 6-0 conquest of No. 91 Azariah Rusher of Florida State. He was 5-10 in dual match singles play and saw action at courts 3-6, in doubles he was 2-4 with partner Togan Tokac in fall action.
In 2024-25 at Texas A&M (Sophomore)
Pieres led the way for the Aggies in singles with a 22-10 overall record. He logged a 13-6 dual record with a 7-3 conference record. He strengthened his resume, claiming three ranked wins, including over No. 74 Jaden Weekes of Kentucky. In doubles, he posted a 12-overall and went 8-13 in dual action primarily at lines 2 and 3.
In 2023-24 at Texas A&M (Freshman)
Pires had a solid season as a true freshman where he hosted a 12-13 record in singles with a 9-7 ledger on court 5. In doubles, Pires was 13-15 with four different partners, but was 9-8 next to Raphael Perot. This strong campaign earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors on two occasions. He picked up the first ranked-singles win of his career against No. 112 Cyrus Mahjoob of Georgia (Jan. 29) and got another versus No. 94 Filip Pieczonka of Tennessee (March 15). Pires also recorded two ranked doubles win with Perot at the ITA Indoors.
