Before Clemson:
- Started playing tennis at the age of seven, in hometown city of Bratislava, Slovakia
- In 2006, ranked number seven in his age group in Slovakia and finish second in the regional championships
- In 2007, he moved to London, UK where he played in 2007, 2008 and 2009
- During this period, he played in the under 14 age group events and he finished as number 23 in UK and number one in the county (Kent), having won the county championships along the way
- That year he also went to his first international tournament, ETA under 14 in Reykjavik, Iceland where he finished second
- In 2010 he moved back to Slovakia, where he started training with coach, former ATP player Ladislav Svarc (ATP high #218)
- He played five ETA-tenniseurope under 16 events, In those tournaments, he reached three quarterfinals, and in doubles reached two semifinals and won one championship
- Ranked number eight in Slovakia in the under-18 category
- Had a 6-0 singles record in the Slovak national team championships finals, during the years of 2010 and 2011
- Led his team to the National Championship in Slovakia in 2010 and 2011
- Graduated at the International Baccalaureate School in Bratislava
- Majoring in Pre-Business
