Alex Favrot Season 2017-18

In 2015-16 (Freshman)

Singles:

• Finished the regular season with 16-9 overall record
• Against nationally ranked Notre Dame Favrot defeated Alex Lawson, 6-2, 6-4, for his first-ever ACC win
• Played all but three matches at number-one singles, 2-1 at number-two singles
• Was ranked as high as 90^th in the country

Doubles:

• Finished the season with a 15-10 record
• Played mostly with Luke Johnson at number-one doubles
• The duo of Johnson and Favrot were ranked as high as 46^th in the country

Before Clemson:

• Native of Lyon, France
• Started playing tennis at the age of five
• Favrot’s highest career ranking in the world junior rankings was 60^th
• Also ranked 900^th in the world professional rankings
• Won the European Junior Championship in 2007
• Favrot played for Tennis Club de Lyon in France
• Spent the last four years training at the French Olympic Training Center with the French Federation
• Majoring in Pre-Business
