PAST QUOTABLES

» Former Penn State Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry on PJ Hall:
“PJ Hall, we were walled up, body between him and the basket. But that’s what an All-ACC guy does. Doesn’t matter if he’s hurt or coming back from injury. He makes shots at the end of the game.”

» Virginia Tech Head Coach Mike Young on PJ Hall:”
He’s come on here like gangbusters. I think he had a very good year a year ago. He’s just so much stronger and bigger. It really gives you heartburn off of that high ball screen stuff…(If) he gets his feet on the ground, he’s dynamite. His work around the basket. He’s big. He’s got beautiful touch. He’s always had a beautiful touch.”

» Former Georgia Tech Head Coach Josh Pastner:
“Hunter Tyson and PJ Hall are about as good of a front court as there is in the ACC.”

» Former Duke Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski on PJ Hall:
“Hall is the most improved player on the planet. He played nine minutes a game last year and he’s one of the better big guys in the country; he’s a pro, really. He can shoot, go out and [he’s] mobile.”

» North Carolina Head Coach Hubert Davis on PJ Hall:
“He’s [PJ Hall] a guy that plays with a lot of emotion. He’s competitive. He’s very physical and plays hard on both ends of the floor on every possession. He’s a guy that can consistently score around the basket, but he can shoot the ball from the outside. On both ends, he’s a player that could be a huge factor.”

» Former Louisville Interim Head Coach Mike Pegues on PJ Hall:
“He’s an animal. He’s one of the best bigs in the league [ACC].”
