South Carolina at Clemson Baseball Game Rained Out

April 21, 1998

CLEMSON, SC— The South Carolina at Clemson baseball game scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 was rained out. The two will attempt to make up the game sometime in May. That was Clemson’s second consecutive rain out, as the Tigers and N.C. State were rained out on Sunday afternoon. Despite the rain, Clemson’s new Head Basketball Coach Larry Shyatt dressed up in a full Clemson uniform and threw out the first pitch.

Clemson will travel to Athens to play Georgia on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, while South Carolina’s next game is at Vanderbilt on Friday at 8:00 PM EDT. Clemson’s next home game will be Friday against Florida State at 7:15 PM, when former Tiger great Rusty Adkins will have his jersey retired in pregame festivities.
