Solid Orange Squad Visits Northside Elementary School

The Solid Orange Squad headed to Northside Elementary on Thursday, October 29 to visit classrooms and encourage the students to demonstrate good character. The athletes talked about how to Be a T.I.G.E.R.! The acronym stands for teamwork, integrity, gratitude, education and respect.

Rowers Allison Colberg, Michelle Nance and Liz Robb visited third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms to speak to the students. Katrina Obas (swimming and diving) met with a special group of students that were identified as `at risk’ and discussed the tiger traits and motivated the students to make goals and have dreams for their future. The student-athletes shared their message with about 600 students.
