Simpson Kirr Inks Another Transfer

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson volleyball head coach Jackie Simpson Kirr announced the signing of an additional transfer, Katie Hurta, to the 2023 roster on Thursday. Hurta will begin training with the Tigers this spring in preparation for the 2023 fall season after spending the fall semester at Penn State.

“As we continue to build our program,” said Simpson Kirr, “we want to do it the Clemson Way. We are not only looking for talented volleyball players but great teammates and Clemson family members.

We are thrilled that Katie has chosen to become a Tiger. She is a fierce competitor! Everyone we spoke with shared what a great teammate she is. We look forward to her joining our returners this spring.”
