Seventeen Tigers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

CLEMSON, S.C. – Following their success both on the field and in the classroom, 17 student-athletes from the women’s soccer program have been named to the 2024 All-ACC Academic Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

With 17 honorees, this marks a program record for Clemson as the previous record was 15 athletes which was set in the 2022-23 season.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. The athletic requirement for student-athletes is to have played in at least 50 percent of competition.

Seven Tigers have been named to the All-ACC Academic Team more than once as graduate Megan Bornkamp led the charge by picking up her fifth honor as she has been named to the academic team each year she played at Clemson. Emily Brough, Sydney Minarik, Layne St. George and Mackenzie Duff all earned their third career honor while Dani Davis and Jenna Tobia secured their second academic-honor.

Eight Tigers earned first-career honors as Kendall Bodak, Christian Brathwaite, Emilia Eriksen, Eleanor Hays, Ella Johnson, Kim Pickett, Nona Reason, Allie Serlenga, Erin Sherden and Tatum Short made the academic team for the first time as a Tiger.
