CLEMSON, SC–Clemson’s Scott Clackum (North Augusta, SC) and Matt Padgett (Lexington, SC) were among nine ACC players named to the 1998 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Atlantic Region first-team, released by Georgia Southern coach Jack Stallings.
It was the first such regional honor for both players. Earlier this season, Clackum and Padgett were tabbed All-ACC first team.
