CLEVELAND, Ohio – In recognition of her stellar final season, Clemson standout Amari Robinson was named to the 2024 Women’s College All-Star Game on Thursday morning.
The watchlist includes 50 student-athletes from across the country who are exhausting their college eligibility this season and was voted on by a panel of distinguished national media members and former coaches. The All-Star game will take place on April 6 in Cleveland, Ohio and can be seen on ESPN2. It will feature the top 20 senior players in the nation.
Robinson, who came to Clemson from Douglasville, Georgia, has been nothing short of superb this season. She is the only player from a power five conference to be leading her team in points per game, rebounds per game, field goal percentage, and three-point percentage. She has provided both quality and quantity for the Tiger offense this season, as she’s the only player in the ACC with multiple games scoring 35 or more points, and she leads the conference in true shooting (.622) and effective field goal percentage (.575).
Clemson’s star has anchored the Tiger offense this season, and she is ninth in the country for most games with 20 or more points while shooting at least 60% from the floor. She is averaging career highs in points per game (17.4), rebounds per game (6.5), and across her shooting slash (53/37/82).
She is one of ten players from the ACC to be named to the watchlist.
Robinson and the Tigers have two games remaining in their regular season. The Tigers play Wake Forest on Thursday, February 29 at 6:00 p.m., and will close the season on Sunday, March 3 in Tallahassee against Florida State at 4:00 p.m. Both of those games can be seen on ACC Network.
