Rawl, Barrientos Earn NCAA Regionals Individual Bids

Clemson, S.C. — Women’s golf’s Isabella Rawl and Melena Barrientos have each earned individual bids to NCAA Regionals, it was announced during the selection show on Wednesday afternoon.

The pair will compete at the Charlottesville Regional held at the Birdwood Golf Course in Charlottesville, Va., May 5-7 and are two of the six individuals competing.

Each of six regionals sites feature 12 teams and six individuals competing. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team from each regional site will advance to compete in the national championships to be played May 16-21 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Championship play will be hosted by Texas, with the final three days of the championships televised live by the GOLF Channel.
