  • Wide receiver Bryant Wesco Jr. recorded career highs in receptions (nine) and receiving yards (152). Wesco’s previous career highs in each category both came against SMU in the 2024 ACC Championship Game (eight receptions for 143 yards).
  • The 100-yard receiving game was Wesco’s seventh of his career, tying Mike Williams, Chansi Stuckey and Tony Horne for sixth-most in Clemson history.
  • The 100-yard receiving effort was Wesco’s first of the season and his first since Oct. 11, 2025, at Boston College.
  • Wesco posted the first 150-yard receiving performance by a Clemson player since Tyler Brown’s 153-yard effort at Syracuse in 2023.
  • With the performance, Wesco (1,560) reached 1,500 career receiving yards.
  • A 55-yard fourth-quarter reception by Wesco was Clemson’s longest pass play of the 2026 season.
  • Wide receiver Tyler Brown recorded 76 receiving yards on a career-high 10 receptions. His 10 receptions surpassed his previous career high of nine, set in a nine-catch, 153-yard performance at Syracuse in 2023.
  • Brown recorded the first 10-reception game by a Clemson player since Antonio Williams’ 10 receptions against Duke last November.
  • Brown’s 10th catch of the game was his 100th career reception.
  • Between Brown and Wesco, Clemson had multiple receivers reach nine receptions in the same game for the first time since 2016, when Mike Williams (15) and Artavis Scott (13) exceeded the mark against Pitt.
  • Quarterback Tait Reynolds completed 29-of-44 passes for 295 yards, all career highs.
  • Clemson’s 295 passing yards were a season high.
  • Reynolds’ 44 pass attempts were the most by a Clemson player since Cade Klubnik’s 60 attempts against Syracuse last September.
  • Running back Gideon Davidson rushed for his fourth touchdown of the season and of his career on a two-yard run in the fourth quarter.
  • Davidson became the first Clemson player to rush for a touchdown in three straight games since Adam Randall did so in each of the first three games of Clemson's 2025 season.
  • Davidson’s rushing touchdown was the first surrendered by Miami this season.
  • Wide receiver T.J. Moore extended his streak of consecutive games with a reception to 32 games, tying Perry Tuttle (32 from 1979-81) for the eighth-longest streak in Clemson history.
  • Defensive tackle Andy Burburija recorded the first sack of his NCAA career on a third down in the first quarter. Burburija recorded 14.0 sacks at the junior college level before joining the Tigers this offseason.
  • Defensive end Jahiem Lawson recorded his first sack of the season in the third quarter.
  • The game was Clemson’s 93rd contest with multiple sacks since 2018, the most in the nation.
  • Cornerback Ashton Hampton recorded two pass breakups. He became the first Clemson player in the last 30 years to record multiple passes defended in three of a season’s first five games (as credited by gameday stat crews).
  • Kick returner Chris Johnson Jr. recorded a career-long 42-yard return on the game’s opening kickoff.
  • Kicker Nolan Hauser went 2-for-2 on field goals and 1-for-1 on PATs.
  • With two field goals, Hauser (47) tied for ninth in career field goals in Clemson history.
  • Hauser converted a 48-yard field goal late in the first quarter and a 29-yard field goal in the second quarter.
  • With the first Hauser field goal, Clemson scored in its 312th consecutive game to pass the 1998-2022 Oklahoma Sooners for sole possession of the 10th-longest streak in FBS history without being shut out.
  • Clemson played a fourth night game in the first five games of a season for the first time since 1951.
  • Clemson is now 39-37-1 all-time in home games against AP Top 25 opponents since Death Valley opened in 1942.
  • Clemson dropped to 12-4 against ranked opponents in Death Valley since 2015.
  • Miami’s current two-game winning streak in its series against Clemson now marks the first time the Hurricanes have won consecutive games against the Tigers since a three-game Miami winning streak in the series from 1951-56.
  • Clemson’s captains for the contest were cornerback Ashton Hampton, wide receiver T.J. Moore, tight end Olsen Patt-Henry and cornerback Elliot Washington II.
