CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson’s Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, Mark Elliot, unveiled the Tigers' full indoor and outdoor track and field schedule Thursday afternoon.
The Clemson Opener on Dec. 4 will kick off a four-meet home slate to begin the Tigers’ indoor schedule. The stretch will include the Bob Pollock Meet on Jan. 29-30 to celebrate Clemson’s alumni, and it will conclude with the Tiger Paw Invite on Feb. 12-13.
After a weekend on the road, Clemson will begin the indoor postseason with the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships in Boston on Feb. 25-27. Arkansas will host the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., on March 12-13.
For their outdoor season, the Tigers will split up, opening simultaneously at UCF and North Florida on March 19-20. An exciting string of competitions for Clemson is highlighted by the Texas Relays on April 1-3, the Tom Jones Invitational on April 16-17, and the Penn Relays on April 22-24.
The Tigers will use the Duke Twilight on May 2 as a final preparatory meet before beginning the outdoor postseason with ACC Championships, hosted by Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., on May 13-15. The NCAA Prelims take place in Jacksonville, Fla., on May 26-29, and the season will be capped by the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore., on June 9-12.
