CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Volleyball closes out its four-game home stand with two top-25 matchups, hosting #7 SMU and #2 Pitt on the weekend inside Jervey Gym. Both matches will be streamed on ACCNX.
Clemson vs. SMU | Friday, Oct. 23 | 6 p.m.
SMU enters the week with a 14-4 record on the season with a 6-2 record in ACC play. Clemson has a 3-3 record all-time against SMU but are currently on a three-game losing stream. The Tigers are 1-1 inside Jervey Gym against SMU.
Clemson vs. Pitt | Sunday, Oct. 25 | 1 p.m.
Pitt enters the week with a 17-1 record on the season with a 7-1 record in ACC play, but they will play Georgia Tech ahead of coming to Jervey Gym on Sunday. Clemson has a 1-15 record all-time against Pitt, with the lone win being in the team’s first-ever meeting. Pitt is 8-0 in Jervey Gym.
Season Overview
The Tigers are 8-12 entering the week, with an 2-6 record in ACC play, coming off two wins last week. The team is 8-6 inside Jervey Gym this season. This week, the Tigers’ libero Addi Rains was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week after she averaged over 5.00 digs per set throughout the two matches last week.
After this weekend, the Tigers will head back on the road for matches at Louisville and Notre Dame on Oct. 30 and Nov. 1. Those matches will both be streamed on ACCNX.
