CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson libero Addi Rains was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday evening.
Addi Rains was named Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career after averaging 5.29 digs per set this weekend, which led the ACC in that category.
Her defensive contributions helped Clemson to limit the Syracuse and Boston College attack and get two wins on the weekend, she was the lone ACC libero to average over 5.0 digs per set this weekend.
Rains is just the second-ever Tiger to be named Defensive Player of the Week, with McKenna Gildon earning the title once in 2025.
Rains and the rest of the Tigers will be back in action this weekend on Friday, Oct. 23 against SMU and Sunday, Oct. 25 against Pitt. Both matches will be streamed on ACCNX. For the most up to date schedule information go to clemsontigers.com.
