CLEMSON, S.C. – For the second week in a row, Katherine Sandt was named Co-Setter of the Week, the ACC announced Monday evening.
Sandt was named co-setter of the week alongside Louisville’s Nayelis Cabello. For Sandt, this is the fourth time in her career she has been named ACC Setter of the Week, earning the accolade twice in 2025 and in week one of the 2026 season.
Sandt earned this accolade after a lights-out weekend, helping the Tigers to a 3-0 weekend to win the Clemson Invitational. She averaged 8.77 assists per set with 114 on the weekend while still contributing 18 kills and nine blocks on the weekend, with 28 digs. She contributed on all sides of the ball to have a All-Tournament Team performance for the Tigers. Additionally, in her efforts this weekend, Sandt surpassed 2,000 career assists and solidified herself in program history with the 9th most career assists by a Tiger.
With back-to-back Co-Setter of the Week awards, Sandt remains the lone Tiger to win the ACC Setter of the Week award, also going back-to-back with the award in September 2025.
Sandt will be back in action tomorrow with the rest of the Tigers in the ACC-SEC Showdown at the Net against the Ole Miss Rebels on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 7 pm. That match will be streamed on SECN+. After that, the team will return home to host South Carolina in the Palmetto Series on Friday night inside Jervey Gym. That match will start at 7 pm and be First Responders Appreciation Night.
