CLEMSON, S.C. - Clemson Women’s Soccer Head Coach Eddie Radwanski reached 300 wins as a head coach as the Tigers claimed a 3-0 shutout against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs (1-3-3) on Sunday night at Historic Riggs Field. In his 26 years at the helm of a program, Radwanski has amassed a 300-164-56 career record. This includes 161 wins during his 16 seasons as the Tigers’ head coach.
“The most important thing is the team getting the win, and we got another shutout,” said Radwanski. “You don’t get to places like this without being surrounded with the right people. I’ve been so blessed to have Siri Mullinix and Jeff Robbins with me for the majority of my journey… and for me to share it with this group of players is really an honor. They’re outstanding and they’re going to do super things for the program. It’s a special moment but it is great to celebrate it with everyone. I also want to give a shoutout to the crowd tonight. We had so many amazing fans here and I want to thank them for coming out and being loud.” For more postgame comments from Coach Radwanski, click here
The win marked the fifth clean sheet of the year for the Tigers and moved them to 4-1-2 to end non-conference play. Clemson had 11 different players finish the night with 29 shots, including 17 on goal. In net, graduates Nona Reason and Addy Holgersen once again split time with Reason earning her fourth victory of the season.
Sophomore Juju Harris scored her first goal of the 2026 campaign and gave the Tigers the early lead with a goal off a penalty kick in the eighth minute. She took the penalty kick for Clemson after junior Anna Castenfelt was tripped inside the box.
The Tigers continued to apply pressure in the first 45 minutes to combine for eight shots on goal. In total, Clemson outshot the Bulldogs, 15-1, during that stretch and maintained possession for 65 percent of the half. One of the best chances Clemson had to capitalize was back-to-back shots on goal fired off by Ella Bach and Izzy Dalke, respectively, in the 38’. Neither of these attempts, alongside the other shots on goal, found the back of the net to take Clemson into the half with a 1-0 advantage.
Bach got onto the board in the 48’ as the second half got underway. After UNC Asheville played a ball back to their goalkeeper, both Harris and Bach converged on the play. Bach came away with the ball, and with the goal left open, found the back of the net with her left foot to double the Tigers’ advantage.
Clemson capitalized on another penalty kick in the 64’. After Christian Brathwaite dribbled into the box, two UNC Asheville defenders tripped her up. The officials went to review and rewarded the Tigers their second penalty kick of the night. Castenfelt stepped up to the plate and delivered the third goal of the night which would secure the 3-0 victory.
