CLEMSON, S.C. - Junior Duncan Wilson clocked his first career brace and junior Ransford Gyan added two goals of his own as the No. 14 Clemson Tigers (7-2, 3-1 ACC) soared past the Boston College Eagles (5-1-2, 1-2-1 ACC), 4-0, on Friday night at Historic Riggs Field. Gyan clocked his team-high sixth and seventh goals of the season, while Duncan clocked his second and third of the year.
The Tigers held an 18-5 shot advantage through the 90-minute contest, including having nine shots on goal. On the defensive end, Clemson prevented Boston College from getting a single shot on goal as graduate goalkeeper Aleksa Janjic finished with his second solo shutout and sixth win of 2026.
Clemson had multiple opportunities to capitalize in the first half, holding 9-2 shot and 3-0 corner kick advantages against the Eagles. Remi Okunlola got the first look on net with a shot on goal in the 26’, and Wilson had a shot attempt blocked in the 39’.
Clemson was able to break the stalemate in the 40’ after BC was called for a handball inside the 18-yard box off a ball sent in from Okunlola. Gyan stepped up to take the penalty kick and found the left side of the net which gave the Tigers the 1-0 advantage entering halftime.
The Tigers doubled their lead in the 57’. After a give-and-go passing sequence on the right side of the field, Clemson got a cross through to the left side of the penalty box that Mateo Tsakiris got a foot on to send back towards the goal. Wilson got the final touch that redirected the ball past the Boston College goalkeeper to make it 2-0.
Gyan and Duncan collaborated on the third and fourth Clemson goals of the night. After Mason Jimenez lined up for a short corner kick that was fed to Gyan, Gyan juked past two defenders and threaded the needle to get a pass to Wilson. Wilson’s one-timer rocketed to the back of the net to make it 3-0 in Clemson’s favor in the 75’.
Scoring was capped in the 83’ after the Clemson defense intercepted a Boston College offensive attack attempt. Duncan controlled the ball around midfield and made the leading pass into the offensive side of the field that Gyan chased down. Gyan then carried the ball roughly 30 yards for a one-on-one attack against BC’s goalkeeper, and his shot from 18-yards out fired to the back of the net, extending the lead to 4-0. This held for the remainder of the match and gave Clemson its seventh win of the 2026 campaign.
