CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Volleyball hosts its first weekend of ACC action inside Jervey Gym this weekend. The Tigers will host Virginia on Sept. 25 at 6 pm and Virginia Tech on Sept. 27 at 1 pm. All matches at Jervey Gym are free admission and both matches will be streamed on ACCNX.
Clemson vs. Virginia | Friday, Sept. 23 | 6 p.m.
Last season, Clemson won 3-1 against Virginia. The Tigers also have a 25-8 record all-time inside Jervey Gym against the team. The visitors enter the week with a 4-5 record, coming off of a pair of losses to Ohio State.
Clemson vs. Virginia Tech | Sunday, Sept. 25 | 1 p.m.
Last season, Clemson’s meeting with the Hokies resulted in a 1-3 loss on the road. The Tigers have a 13-5 record in Jervey Gym against Virginia Tech, though, and are 24-16 against them all-time. Virginia Tech enters the week with a loss to South Carolina last weekend and a 3-6 record on the season.
Season Overview
The Tigers are 6-6 entering into ACC play. The team is 6-4 inside Jervey Gym with wins against Charleston Southern, Western Carolina, UNC Greensboro, East Carolina, App State and USC Upstate. The Tigers enter the week leading the ACC in total digs, kills, assists and digs per set, while they are second in total blocks.
After this weekend, the Tigers will take their first road trip to ACC action as they head to North Carolina and Duke for matches on Oct. 2 and 4. Both matches will be streamed on ACCNX.
