CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson lacrosse head coach Allison Kwolek announced the hiring of Ryan Sauline as Director of Lacrosse Operations Monday morning.
Previously a graduate assistant in Clemson Athletics’ Strategic Communications & Publicity department, Sauline served as the primary contact for lacrosse during the 2026 season. He also helped publicize Clemson’s track and field, cross country, men’s tennis and women’s soccer programs throughout the 2025-26 academic year. His work included coverage of two ACC championships and two individual national champions in track and field.
Before joining Clemson, Sauline earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in 2025. He spent two years as a student assistant in the Athletics Communications department as a student assistant, working with 22 of Ohio State’s 36 varsity sports. He assisted with coverage of men’s soccer in 2024, when the Buckeyes reached the College Cup, and served as the primary contact for Ohio State track and field during the 2025 season.
A Pickerington, Ohio, native, Sauline spent his first two years of college at Capital University, where Clemson lacrosse associate head coach Bill Olin led the men’s lacrosse program from 2014-16. At Capital, Sauline worked as a student assistant in the sports information department.
In his free time, Sauline enjoys traveling and rooting for Pittsburgh’s professional sports teams, especially the Steelers.
