Huntsville, Ala. – The Clemson women’s and men’s cross-country teams competed in the Southern Showcase meet on Friday night. The women finished second overall with 69 points, and the men finished fourth overall with 169 points.
In the women’s 5K, three Tigers finished in the top ten. Nancy Cherop finished fourth overall with a time of 15:56.20, Judy Kosgei finished fifth, running a time of 15:57.60, and Silvia Jelelgo finished seventh with a time of 16:05.80.
Garrett Brown finished first amongst the Tigers, running a time of 24:06.40 and placing twelfth overall. Trey Sullivan finished twentieth overall and second for the Tigers with a time of 24:22.80.
