CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson baseball program begins its fall training season this weekend and concludes the fall training season with a home-and-home scrimmage against Georgia Tech on Oct. 31 (Russ Chandler Stadium) at 1 p.m. and Nov. 1 (Doug Kingsmore Stadium) at 1 p.m. Admission is free for both scrimmages against the Yellow Jackets. There is no live video, radio broadcast or live stats available for the scrimmages.
Clemson also travels to Pelicans Ballpark in Myrtle Beach, S.C. to play Coastal Carolina in two scrimmages on Oct. 10 (4 p.m.) and Oct. 11 (1 p.m.).
Clemson has 18 returning lettermen from the 2026 team, including senior righthander Aidan Knaak, a two-time, First-Team All-ACC selection, and returning position starters Luke Gaffney, Tyler Lichtenberger, Tryston McCladdie and Jarren Purify. Pitchers Brendon Bennett and Danny Nelson, 2026 All-ACC Freshman selections, return as well.
The Tigers are scheduled to open the 2027 season with three games in the Shriners Children's College Showdown at Arlington, Texas from Feb. 19-21, Clemson's second trip to that tournament in the last three years. Clemson's full 2027 season schedule will be released later in the fall.
Season-ticket renewals for 2027 games at Doug Kingsmore Stadium will be available on ClemsonTigers.com in November. Single-game tickets for IPTAY members and the public will be available in 2027.
