CLEMSON, S.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that placekicker Nolan Hauser has earned ACC Specialist of the Week honors for his performance in Clemson's 22-7 win against Georgia Southern on Saturday.
The selection represents Clemson's first ACC weekly honor of the 2026 season and the third of Hauser's career, joining selections for games against Florida State in 2024 and Boston College in 2025. The Tigers have now garnered a total of 593 ACC weekly awards since 1968.
Last week, Hauser went 5-of-5 on field goals and 1-of-1 on PATs, accounting for 16 points in the 15-point win. His five field goals matched his career high set at Florida State in 2024, as Hauser joined Nelson Welch (three) as the only kickers in Clemson history to convert five field goals in multiple games in a career.
Hauser's five field goals included a 50-yarder, his fourth career field goal of 50 or more yards. He now stands in sole possession of fourth-most field goals of 50 or more yards in Clemson history behind B.T. Potter (nine), Donald Igwebuike (five) and Chris Gardocki (five).
Hauser and Clemson will return to Memorial Stadium this Saturday when the Tigers host the North Carolina Tar Heels on Sept. 19. Limited tickets remain for that Family Weekend contest slated for noon ET on ESPN.
