CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s soccer program is set to open the 2026 season on Thursday, as they play host to No. 3 ranked Furman for a 8:00 p.m. kickoff. The match will be broadcast on ACC Network.
The Tigers, coming off their 38th NCAA Tournament appearance during the 2025 season, finished 8-6-3 on the season.
Junior returner Ransford Gyan has been named to the ACC Preseason Watch List and United Soccer Coahces Players to Watch List for Midfielders. Transfers Malick Daouda and Martin Bakken were also tabbed to the United Soccer Coaches Players to Watch List for Midfielders.
Clemson and Furman have met 57 times in history, with the Tigers leading with a 42-12-3 record over the Paladins. The Tigers and Paladins last faced off in 2019 and Clemson took home the win 2-0. Furman finished 2025 with a record of 16-2-5 overall and went 4-0-1 against conference opponents.
