Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s basketball head coach Shawn Poppie has announced the Tigers’ non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Clemson is set to open the season at home against Radford (Monday, Nov. 2).
- The Schedule is highlighted by a pair of programs that played in last season's NCAA Tournament: South Carolina (National Runner-Up) and Kentucky (Sweet 16). In ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top-25 Rankings, the Gamecocks checked in at No. 3, and the Wildcats were ranked No. 14.
- Clemson will play in the Daytona Beach Classic on Nov. 26-27 (Opponents TBA).
- CU’s annual Education Day will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 15, against Western Carolina.
- The Tigers will host 11 home non-conference matchups at Littlejohn Coliseum.
- Clemson will play seven schools from the Carolinas and face foes from seven different states.
- CU will contest foes from six different conferences (Big South, SoCon, SEC, ASUN, CAA, and C-USA).
The Tigers will open the season with a seven-game November homestand at Littlejohn Coliseum, beginning with Radford (Monday, Nov. 2), ETSU (Thursday, Nov. 5), UNC Greensboro (Sunday, Nov. 8), South Carolina (Thursday, Nov. 12), Stetson (Sunday, Nov. 15), USC Upstate (Wednesday, Nov. 18), and UNC Asheville (Friday, Nov. 20).
Before closing out the November home slate against Elon (Sunday, Nov. 29), CU will also play in the Daytona Beach Classic (Thursday, Nov. 26, Friday, Nov. 27), with opponents to be announced.
Clemson’s first road test will be the previously announced SEC/ACC Challenge matchup at Kentucky (Thursday, Dec. 3). CU will close out the remaining three non-conference games at Littlejohn Coliseum: Gardner-Webb (Sunday, Dec. 6), Western Carolina (Education Day, Tuesday, Dec. 15), and Kennesaw St. (Monday, Dec. 28).
