CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson men’s golf team released its 2026-27 schedule for the fall and spring seasons. Head Coach Jordan Byrd’s Tigers will play 10 regular season tournaments, which includes nine events the program has previously played. Including the ACC Tournament, Clemson will play tournaments in seven states, four in South Carolina, two in Ohio, and one each in Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Texas and West Virginia.
Byrd’s team returns five lettermen in Oscar Valdemar Holm Bredkjaer, Rich Wills, Colin Salema, Samuel Duran and Tip Price. Five newcomers are freshmen Gabriel Holtz and Daniel McBrien, including transfers Hampton Roberts, Jack Roberts and Biagio Gagliardi.
Clemson will open the season September 13-15 at the Inverness Intercollegiate, a tournament the Tigers last played in 2024.
After playing in the inaugural Bryan Bros Collegiate in 2025, the Tigers finished third out of 15 at Solina Golf Club. Clemson will participate this year at Solina from September 28-29.
Both the men’s and women’s programs will compete in the Barbara Nicklaus Cup two-day event from October 5-6. This will be Clemson’s fourth appearance in the event with Clemson winning the championship twice in rain impacted tournaments. Clemson halved Ohio State and defeated Georgia in 2018, then beat Ohio State and Duke in 2019. Clemson finished third in 2024.
The Tigers return to the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate for their fourth tournament of the fall season from Oct. 16-18.
To round out the fall, Clemson will travel to Hawaii for the Ka’anapali Classic – its seventh appearance in the event all-time. Clemson won the event in 2016 with a 26-under-par (826) team performance. The Tigers also own second, fourth and fifth-place finishes throughout the years, including all six appearances earning top 10 team finishes.
Clemson opens the spring season at the Battle of Briar’s Creek held Feb. 15-16 at the Golf Club of Briar’s Creek in Johns Island, S.C. The Tigers won this event in 2024 with a one-under-par (575) team score, defeating 13 schools.
From there, Clemson will participate in The Hayt at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Verde Beach, Fla. from March 6-8 for the fourth time. Clemson won the event in 2021 with a 19-under-par (845) score and defeated 13 teams.
The Tigers’ third event of the spring will be the Michael A. Marino Classic from March 14-16 at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C. This will mark the first time Clemson will participate in the event hosted by Coastal Carolina.
Clemson returns to The Hootie in 2027 from March 28-30 at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The Tigers will participate for the seventh time, including last season’s fourth place finish out of 15 schools. Clemson owns four top 10 team finishes in the event.
Clemson will make its seventh appearance at The Hootie at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Mount Pleasant, S.C. from March 28-30. It marks back-to-back appearances at Bulls Bay for the Tigers after not competing in the event since 2013.
The Tigers close the regular season in the state of West Virginia for the second consecutive season. Clemson will compete in the Mountaineer Invitational at the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, W.Va. Clemson won the event last season by four shots over Texas Tech and host West Virginia.
The April 22-26 ACC Tournament will be held at Maridoe Golf Club in Dallas, Texas for the first time.
The NCAA regional tournaments will be held May 17-19, 2027. The sites include Lubbock, Texas; Bloomington, Ind.; Stillwater, Okla.; Murrells Inlet, S.C.; Marana, Ariz.; and Loudon, Tenn. The NCAA Championship will be held in Carlsbad, Calif. at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa for the fourth straight year.
