CLEMSON, S.C. – A total of 13 Tigers were named to the All-ACC Academic Baseball Team, announced Tuesday by the league office. Requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during one’s academic career. In addition, position players must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests and pitchers in at least 20 percent.

Joe Allen (communication) became the first Tiger baseball player in history to make the team four times. Jacob Jarrell (management) and Aidan Knaak (management) earned the honor for the third time, while Luke Gaffney (economics) and Tryston McCladdie (parks, recreation & tourism management) were named to the team for the second time.

First-time selections were Talan Bell (parks, recreation & tourism management), Brendon Bennett (parks, recreation & tourism management), Dion Brown (parks, recreation & tourism management), Jason Fultz Jr. (criminal justice), Dylan Harrison (sports communication), Danny Nelson (pre-business), Hayden Simmerson (economics) and Eston Simpson (parks, recreation & tourism management).
