CLEMSON, S.C. – ILWomen released its Way-Ahead 2027 Women’s Tewaaraton Race with Clemson’s Alexa Spallina and Teagan Scott earning spots on the list. Spallina landed at No. 6 while Scott rounded out the list in 10th.

Coming in as the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2025, Spallina lived up to the hype, totaling 111 points on 72 assists and 39 goals. She ranked top five in both the ACC and NCAA in all three categories and garnered the following honors:

  • IWLCA Second Team All-American
  • Nike Lacrosse Media All-American Third Team
  • IWLCA DI South Region First Team
  • USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American
  • ACC Freshman of the Year
  • All-ACC First Team
  • ACC Offensive Player of the Week (April 7)

Spallina was also named ILWomen’s No. 1 Impact Freshman earlier this month.

Scott arrived at Clemson as the No. 92-ranked recruit in the nation and was initially projected as aa offensive contributor. The decision to move Scott to defense proved fruitful as she shattered Clemson’s single-season record for caused turnovers within the first three games of the season. Scott’s 68 caused turnovers and 3.24 caused turnovers per game both led the ACC and ranked among the top five nationally. Through her efforts, Scott earned the following honors:

  • IWLCA First Team All-American
  • Nike Lacrosse Media All-American Second Team
  • IWLCA DI South Region First Team
  • All-ACC First Team
  • Named to the 2026 Tewaaraton Watch List
  • USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American
  • Inside Lacrosse Nike Midseason Media Second Team All-American
  • Two-time ACC Defensive Player of the Week (Feb. 17 & March 17)
  • Two-time IWLCA Defensive Player of the Week (Feb. 17 & March 17)
  • Ranked No. 1 on ILWomen’s Early-Season Freshman Impact Rankings

Scott also appeared on ILWomen’s Impact Freshman list, checking in at No. 2 behind Spallina.
