EUGENE, Ore. – On the fourth and final day of action at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Shantae Foreman (14.24m) won the Women’s Triple Jump, while also setting a school record and becoming a First Team All-American.
Foreman is the 29th Clemson Athlete to win an NCAA Title (Includes indoor and outdoor) and the 12th Female Clemson Athlete to capture an NCAA Title (14th Champion in Program history).
Two days prior, Foreman also placed second in the women's long jump (6.69m) who earned second place in the women’s long jump. Her distance set a school record and earned her First Team All-America status.
Gladys Chepngetich (women’s 800m) and Nancy Cherop (women’s 5000m) each finished with All-America status. Chepngetich earned First Team All-American, while Cherop received Second Team All-American honors.
Divine Aniamaka became a Second Team All-American in the men’s triple jump after finishing with a best distance of 15.96m.
