EUGENE, Ore. – Clemson track & field wrapped up day one of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with performances from Sharvis Simmonds in the men’s 110m hurdles, Jalen Johnson in the men’s 200m and a relay squad of Daniel Kidd, Kevin Collins, Ian Johnson and J. Johnson.

The relay squad earned Second Team All-American after setting a time of 39.17 seconds. Additionally, Simmonds finished the 110m hurdles in 13.67 seconds and J. Johnson ran a 200m time of 20.79 seconds.

NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS  | DAY ONE

Men’s 110m Hurdles Semifinal

  • 21st Place | Simmonds – 13.67 seconds (All-American Honorable Mention)

Men’s 200m Semifinal

  • 21st Place | J. Johnson – 20.79 seconds (All-American Honorable Mention)

Men’s 4x100m Relay Semifinal

  • 16th Place | Clemson (Kidd, I. Johnson, Collins & J. Johnson) – 39.17 seconds (Second Team All-American)
