CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Athletics’ original content and live production teams earned four awards at the 2026 Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy Awards, continuing the department’s growth as one of the leading creative production units in college athletics.
Clemson won awards in four categories: Director – Sports, Sports – One-Time Special, Promotion – Sports – Sports Promotion Single Spot and Sports Program – Post-Produced or Edited – Series.
The winning projects included “Brotherhood in the Trenches,” a feature on Clemson’s offensive line; Clemson Football Intro Video, the team’s in-stadium entrance piece; and Building Legends Season 2, Clemson’s post-produced original series. Kurt Sutton also earned the award for Director – Sports in Live Production.
Clemson entered the awards with 10 nominations across seven categories, the highest total for any collegiate athletics department in the Southeast. The nominations placed Clemson alongside major broadcast and production entities throughout the region and reflected a wide range of work across original programming, promotional content, live production and individual creative achievement.
