CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Softball’s Jamison Brockenbrough, Kylee Johnson and Abby Dunning were named Academic All-District selections, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Tuesday. This is the fifth year Clemson has had Academic All-District honorees and marked the fourth year the Tigers have had multiple honorees.

Brockenbrough (Locust Grove, Ga.) graduated with a degree in communications while completing her last year of eligibility. The senior posted a .337 average with 58 hits and a team-high 49 runs scored. She concluded her career sitting fourth on Clemson’s single-season walk list with 32 in 2026. Brockenbrough garnered the recognition for the second-straight year.

Johnson (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) is working towards a degree in financial management. She finished her junior campaign with 23 hits and 22 runs scored. Johnson also moved into fifth on Clemson’s all-time stolen base list after stealing 12 in 2026 to bring her career total to 31. This is her first CSC recognition.

Dunning (Chicago, Ill.) is a graduate transfer that was pursuing a degree in athletic leadership. She appeared in the circle in 31 games for 106 innings. She picked up nine victories with 94 strikeouts and threw the program’s eighth no-hitter with a shutout against Georgia Tech in March. She completed the year with two Top 25 wins and finished with over 400 career strikeouts. It was Dunning’s first CSC honor.

To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, be a sophomore academically and have a year-in-residence at their current school while appearing in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation’s top student athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
