TUCSON, Ariz. – Clemson (17-13, 8-5 ACC) fell to No. 8 seed Arizona (23-4, 8-0 Big 12), 4-2, Saturday afternoon in Tucson, Ariz., bringing a close to the 2026 season.
Arizona secured the doubles point after Henrik Bladelius / Marko Mesarovic and Matisse Farzam / Noah Cherubino each fell, 6-3. When play was halted, Viktor Markov / Noa Vukadin led a top 20 opponent in Gustafsson / Sekachov, 5-4.
Arizona struck first on singles court one, where No. 4 Friend defeated Markov, 7–5, 6–2. Clemson quickly answered at No. 3 as Farzam rolled past No. 98 Rozin, 6–0, 7–5, to even the score. The Tigers grabbed their second point on court two, with Vukadin delivering a steady 6–3, 6–3 win over No. 74 Gustafsson. Arizona responded at No. 6, where Uwe Kask edged a tight first set and pulled away for a 7–6 (5), 6–0 victory over Cherubino. Court 4 became the clincher as Arizona’s No. 105 Ludoski outlasted Bladelius in two tight sets, 7–5, 7–5, giving Arizona the clinching point. Court 5 went unfinished, with Clemson’s Mesarovic leading 5–7, 6–4 when play was halted.
