LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Clemson Track & Field closed the 2026 ACC Outdoor Championships with a title on the women’s side and a top‑four finish for the men, capping a weekend highlighted by conference crowns, school records and all‑time program marks.
The Tiger women claimed their eighth outdoor ACC championship with 99 points, edging Duke by three in a meet that came down to the final 4x400m relay.
Clemson’s day was jumpstarted with a historic performance in the 4x100m relay, where Aleksandra Stoilova, Aniyah Kitt, McKenzie Calloway and Briana Campbell ran 42.48 seconds to win the ACC title and break the meet, ACC and school records. The time also ranks No. 11 in NCAA history.
In the field, Shantae Foreman delivered a championship performance in the triple jump at 13.37m and added a runner‑up finish in the long jump with a wind‑aided 6.59m, the best all‑conditions mark in Clemson history. On Foreman’s second-farthest jump, she set a wind-legal PR of 6.36m, good for fourth on Clemson’s All-Time Top 10 List.
Clemson’s middle‑distance group added critical points. Nancy Cherop placed third in the 1500m (4:11.81, PR) and finished second in the 5000m (15:38.48) on Saturday. Judy Kosgei scored in both the 1500m and 800m, while Gladys Chepngetich earned silver in the 800 at 2:02.21.
In the hurdles, Oneka Wilson finished second in the 100m hurdles (13.07) and Campbell placed fifth. Campbell later added an eighth‑place finish in the 200m, where Kitt took fourth after placing fifth in the 100m.
Clemson sealed the team title with a runner‑up finish in the 4x400m relay, as Shanque Williams, Kitt, Calloway and Chepngetich ran 3:30.65 to close the meet.
Additional scoring came from Daneille Noble, who cleared 1.77m for fourth in the high jump, and Kimeka Smith, who threw a personal‑best 16.91m for fourth in the shot put.
Clemson’s men earned their sixth fourth‑place finish in program history, totaling 84 points behind a strong showing in the sprints, relays and high jump.
The Tigers claimed the ACC title in the 4x100m relay, as Daniel Kidd, Ian Johnson, Kevin Collins and Jalen Johnson ran a season‑best 38.90, the fourth‑fastest time in school history.
Clemson swept the top two spots in the 200m, with J. Johnson winning in 20.43 (20.426) and I. Johnson finishing second in 20.43 (20.429, PR). Kidd added a fifth‑place finish. In the 100, I. Johnson ran a personal‑best 10.01 for second, tying for second on Clemson’s all‑time list. J. Johnson placed fourth in 10.21, and Collins took sixth.
In the hurdles, Sharvis Simmonds finished fourth in the 110m hurdles in 13.37, moving to third on Clemson’s all‑time list. Khailan Vitalis placed fifth in 13.59 seconds, now 10th all‑time. Jayden Brown added a point with an eighth‑place finish in the 400m hurdles.
Clemson added major points in the high jump, where Brandon Pottinger won the ACC title at 2.15m, matching his personal best. Jacob Carruthers placed third with a PR 2.09m, and Shyhiem Scotland tied for fifth at the same height. Divine Aniamaka added a sixth‑place finish in the triple jump at 15.73m.
The Tigers closed the meet with a sixth‑place finish in the 4x400m relay, as Grant Holliday, Collins, Kidd and Brayden Tidwell ran 3:09.02.
