Tallahassee, Fla. – Clemson women’s golf sits in 10th at the end of the second day of NCAA Regional action at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club on Tuesday. The Tigers carded a score of +19 (306) in the second round.
It was a rocky day of competition for the Tigers, as the second round was played around inclement weather storms, with the start time delayed by an hour, coupled with a two-hour and 38-minute delay in the afternoon.
ON THE SCORECARD
Junior Ivy Schultze paced the Tigers on the second 18 holes, finishing three-over par, recording six bogeys, and a trio of birdies.
Freshman Sarah Uebelhart carded five-above-par, notching six bogeys, three birdies, and a single double-bogey.
Senior Sydney Roberts finished five over par, and senior Isabella Rawl (tied for 19th among all individuals) recorded six over par. Sophomore Aitana Tuesta carded a plus-nine on the day.
THE NEXT ROUND
Clemson looks to bounce back tomorrow (Wednesday, May 13) for the third and final day of the NCAA Regional. Pairings and tee times will be available here later this evening.
FORMAT
The 12-team field will play a 54-hole (18-holes per day) stroke play format across three days.
ADVANCING TO CALIFORNIA
The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total, one per regional) from each regional site will advance to compete in the national championships to be played May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Championship play will be hosted by Texas, with the final three days of the championships televised live by the GOLF Channel.
