TUCSON, Ariz. – Clemson men’s tennis (17-12, 8-5 ACC) will face No. 8 seed Arizona (22-4, 8-0 Big 12) in the second round of the NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament on Saturday, May 2, in Tucson, Ariz. First serve is scheduled for a 4 p.m. EST (1 p.m. MST) at Robson Tennis Center. The match will stream on Playsight, and live results will be available on Statbroadcast closer to first serve.
Clemson and Arizona are tied 2-2 in the all-time series. The teams first met in 1989, when Clemson earned a 6-0 win at a neutral site. Arizona won the next matchup in 1992, 5-4, before Clemson took the third meeting, 4-2. All three were played at neutral sites. Arizona claimed the most recent contest, a 6-1 victory in 2004 in Tucson, Ariz.
