CLEMSON, S.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its weekly tennis awards Tuesday afternoon with Clemson’s Viktor Markov claiming his fourth award of the season with a co-player of the week.

Over the weekend, Markov recorded two singles wins, including a win over the No. 1 singles player in the nation. Against SMU, he knocked off No. 1 Trevor Svajda, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (1) and defeated SC State’s Mikalai Bankou, 6-1, 6-1.

Markov tacks on a third player of the week (Jan. 27, Feb. 10 and Feb. 24) along with being named to a doubles team of the week with Noa Vukadin on Feb. 24. As a team, Clemson has acquired six ACC weekly awards this season.
