TEXAS RELAYS RESULTS

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Relays drew to a close Saturday evening with Clemson stacking event wins, relay titles and top‑five finishes throughout the weekend. The Tigers’ performances were highlighted by victories in the men’s 100 meters, women’s sprint medley and distance medley relays and the men’s 4x400, along with several all‑time program marks in the throws and jumps.

Clemson opened the Texas Relays with strong field results on day one, led by Matt Auble’s sixth‑place finish in the men’s hammer throw at 61.73 meters, a mark that moved him to fifth on the program’s all‑time list. Ella Brooks and Kendra Dye added eighth and ninth place finishes, respectively, in the women’s hammer. On the track, Sophia Curtis placed 21st in the women’s 400 meter hurdles prelims in 59.56 seconds.

Day two brought a surge of top‑tier performances, highlighted by Kevin Collins winning the men’s 100 meter timed final in 10.25 seconds. Clemson swept two relay titles as the women’s 1600 meter sprint medley relay team won in 3:40.62 and the women’s distance medley relay squad claimed first in 11:28.95. Additional standout efforts included Sharvis Simmonds advancing in the 110 meter hurdles with a 13.67, Aniyah Kitt qualifying fifth in the women’s 100m at 11.16 seconds and Jacob Carruthers placing third in the men’s high jump at 2.08m.

Clemson closed day three with multiple podium finishes, including a victory in the men’s 4x400 meter relay as Grant Holliday, Collins, Ayomide Oyetunji and Daniel Kidd clocked 3:05.92. Jalen Johnson added a runner‑up finish in the men’s 200 meter invitational at 20.50, while the women’s 4x100 meter relay team secured third in 43.59. In the field events, Brandon Pottinger placed fourth in the men’s high jump at 2.10 meters, Danielle Noble tied for fourth in the women’s high jump at 1.75 meters, and Kimeka Smith delivered a fourth‑place finish in the women’s shot put with a 15.68‑meter throw.
