PHILADELPHIA – Clemson wrapped day one of the Penn Relays with Kendra Dye shining in the women’s hammer throw championship. Dye placed third, having a best throw of 60.14m occurring on her third attempt.
Ella Brooks also had a top 10 performance in the hammer throw, landing sixth with 58.50m on her final throw. Clemson also had a trio of 400m hurdlers compete with Jayden Brown placing 10th in the men’s (51.92 seconds) and Sophia Curtis and Isabelle Nebel representing Clemson in the women’s race.
