CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Track & Field heads to the city of Brotherly Love this weekend to partake in the historic Penn Relays at Franklin Field from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25.

Across the three days of action, the Tigers will be competing in 37 total events (21 women’s and 16 men’s) and 13 relays (seven women’s and six men’s).

Clemson opens competition Thursday with the women’s hammer throw at noon, followed by the men’s hammer at 5 p.m. The women’s 400‑meter hurdles championship is set for 5:45 p.m. and the men’s 400 hurdles follows at 6:05 p.m. The women’s 3000m steeplechase championship rounds out the night at 7:05 p.m.

Friday’s schedule begins at noon with three field events (the women’s long jump, women’s shot put and men’s discus). The women’s 4x100 relay is set for 12:55 p.m. and the women’s pole vault begins at 12:30 p.m. Clemson’s men compete in the distance medley relay at 12:20 p.m., while the women race their distance medley at 2 p.m. The women’s 4x200 relay follows at 2:30 p.m. and the men’s 4x200 at 2:45 p.m.

Hurdles heats begin at 3:10 p.m. for the women and 3:30 p.m. for the men. The women’s discus throw starts at 3:30 p.m. and the men’s pole vault begins at 4 p.m. Clemson’s women run the 4x400 at 4:05 p.m., with the men’s 4x400 at 4:20 p.m. The women’s javelin is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. The sprint medley relays close the day, with the women at 6:10 p.m. and the men at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday opens with simultaneous field events at 11:30 a.m., including the men’s and women’s high jump, women’s long jump championship and men’s discus championship. The women’s 4x800 is at 2:05 p.m. and the men’s 4x800 at 5 p.m. Championship triple jump events for both men and women begin at 3:30 p.m., alongside the women’s 100m hurdles championship.
