CLEMSON, S.C. – No. 34 Clemson (12-11, 6-5 ACC) won both legs of a doubleheader in dominant fashion, sweeping both South Carolina State (8-7, 3-0 MEAC) in the afternoon and Boston College (4-13, 0-11 ACC) in the evening.
South Carolina State
Clemson earned its fourth-straight win this afternoon, defeating South Carolina State, 4-0.
The Tigers got off to a hot start with No. 25 Noa Vukadin / Viktor Markov winning 6-1. South Carolina State drew even in doubles play after Johnson / Zamora defeated Noah Lopez Cherubino / Yannic Nittmann, 6-4. Henrik Bladelius / Marko Mesarovic were locked in a tight matchup with the Bulldogs’ Muratuly / Borodatiuk for the clinch. The pairs alternated the first six games before Muratuly / Borodatiuk broke the Tigers’ serve to go up 4-3 but Bladelius / Mesarovic took over, winning the next three games to earn Clemson the doubles point.
Markov got the Tigers started quickly in singles play, polishing off a 6-1, 6-1 victory in just 42 minutes to give Clemson a 2-0 advantage. On court five, Lopez Cherubino dropped just three games en route to another sub one-hour victory, defeating Anh Pham, 6-2, 6-1. Vukadin then clinched the match for the Tigers after defeating Novakovic in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Boston College
The Tigers picked up their 21st straight victory over the Eagles, sweeping Boston College, 4-0.
Bladelius / Mesarovic defeated Boston College’s Pack / Overvelde, 6-3, to open doubles play before No. 25 Vukadin / Markov took care of O’leary / Greschner by the same score shortly after, clinching the doubles point for the Tigers. At the time of abandonment, Lopez Cherubino / Nittmann were a game away from victory, leading their opponents, 5-4.
Mesarovic got the ball rolling for the Tigers in doubles play with a victory over Greschner in two sets, 6-1, 6-3. Bladelius put Clemson on the precipice of victory, defeating Overvelde, 6-2, 6-1. Vukadin sealed the win after defeating Gao, 6-1, 6-1. At the time of abandonment, No. 54 Markov led Carioscia (7-5, 3-2), Lopez Cherubino was tied with Levanat (2-6, 6-1) and Nathan Pitts led Rais (6-3, 4-1) in his season debut.
